Cheers to a unique sisterhood
The Lace, Grace and Gears® motorcycle rally was born of an idea to set a world record for the largest gathering of women motorcycle riders in one place. Attempts had been made in Europe and in Australia, where the biggest gathering of women was counted at 1,119. This was the genesis of Lace, Grace and Gears®.
Successful Lace, Grace and Gears® rallies were held in Texas in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Together the rallies raised nearly $40,000, which was donated to charities serving veterans and teenage girls. Lace, Grace and Gears® took a break in 2019 and 2020 to reflect on the road forward and the rally is back with a bang and our mission is two-fold:
To celebrate a unique sisterhood that spans all ages, economic circumstances, life experiences, careers, and riding preferences. We welcome all women riders to join our Parade of Sisters and set an impressive record of 2021 women riders.
To support homeless women veterans and their children.
Lace, Grace and Gears® is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, founded in 2016 and established in 2019. The rally was borne through Sisterhood of the Asphalt Ribbon® women's motorcycling organization, which boasts a social media following of more than 19,000 women riders. However, it has been it's own entity since its inception.
Lace, Grace and Gears® plans to draw to draw thousands of riders for three event-filled days of rides in the fabulous Ozarks, our famous Parade of Sisters, contests, and much more!
